The area has at times been called the home of all inclusive vacations due to the high proportion of that type of vacation package compared to other packages. There are many reasons put forward as to why the number of all inclusive Caribbean vacation is greater than the number of bed and breakfast only vacations. Many people believe that it is due to a drive to attract a greater number of tourists to the area,however, there really isn’t any basis for this belief.
It could just be because all inclusive Caribbean vacations can be less expensive overall and easier to manage,which makes them particularly attractive for families on a budget. Every type of vacation and travel package is available so just about anyone’s travel needs can be tailor made to suit them. Many people traveling to the islands are returning to see family and not so much is needed,there is no reason to book anything but the flight as they will have accommodation and meals already arranged with their family.
For the average tourist and his family, an all inclusive Caribbean vacation is the more likely scenario with costs manageable right from the start. Of course owing to the number of bookings made, it is usually less expensive to book through a tour operator than it is to arrange the vacation independently,Although many independent travelers would never consider arranging a ‘package’ vacation like this. Even after all this time it is surprising how many people do not actually know what an all inclusive vacation actually includes.
No matter what type of vacation you are arranging, one thing remains constant and that is the room will be included in the package. While the level of meals offered may differ in other vacation packages, with this type, generally all food is included in the cost,with other vacations, it may only be the breakfast that the guests are supplied. It is strange how many people still believe if they have booked a full board package that it actually means all inclusive!
The difference is that an all inclusive Caribbean vacation package will include all food and drinks whereas a full board vacation only generally includes breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. Many hotels will also supply their guests with discount vouchers for events, entertainment and meals for example,these are generally available at extra charge (even if they are discounted). For a person or family booked on an all inclusive Caribbean vacation, there is little to pay,in fact you will be hard pushed to find events and situations where you will need money, which means you are able to enjoy more without the worry of additional cost.
